What are your favorite games for SNES? I've gotta say Chrono Trigger is mine. I also have fond memories of Super Mario World.

Sim City!!

I always thought the SNES version of Sim City was the best version. So many extras and special buildings and such.

Other then that..

Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past is one of the games I remember most.

Anyone remember Shaq-Fu?

Duh: Final Fantasy 3(6).

Close second by mario kart.

Third would be chrono's trigger

I found Shaq-fu in the middle of the street back when I was in highschool (1995-97...sometime between there)...I took it inside, played it about 5 minutes....and threw it back into the street...no joke...

horrible game

Wow, this is tough. Just about every game on super nintendo was classic. Here is my top 10 I guess:

1) Super Metriod

2) Super Mario World

5) Contra III: The Alien Wars

6) Super Mario Kart

7) Kirby's super star :D

8) Super Empire Strikes Back

9) Chrono Trigger

10) NHL series

Yeah, good game. They made a prequel that was even better, Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals. I didn't even know it existed until I found it in a store once and only once (thankfully, I bought it then).

1. Final Fantasy 3 (or 6 in Japan).

2. Street Fighter games

3. Mario Kart

Super Metroid
Super Mario World
Mega Man X's

Yeah super metroid and the DK series owned. I also liked Starfox and Super Mario RPG.

super mario RPG=teh pwnage k thx

and also, mario kart megamanX series(particularly just X)

and has anyone ever played soulblazer( i think thats it) that game ROCKS!

1. Secret of Mana (Damn those Nintendo bastards for restricting Square's access to the USA and keeping us from Secret of Mana 2!)

2. Super Metroid - I played it again relatively recently also.

3. Link to the Past

Would say the Ninja Gaiden Trilogy, but tecmo screwed up the music in all the games, and NG3 is lame (story wise).
BUT, it still gets my vote, cause even though some of the music is missing, Ninja Gaiden 2's new cut scenes were very nice and damn is that an awesome game. (and hard...)

another vote for MegaManX and Super Metroid.
I knew no sunlight the summer i had mega man X.:D

and of course Super Metroid. I still play that game, and just recently beat it under 2 hours. Will never get sick of that one.

That was Secret of Evermore. It was done by Square USA and we got that instead of Seiken Densetsu 3 (aka Secret of Mana 2). It was a good game in it's own right, but a lot of people resented it because they felt it was hardly a replacement for a proper SoM sequel.

Seiken Densetsu 3 has since been translated my fans through a ROM patch, but North America never officially got it.
