Best small digi camera, higgh resoution with good OPTICAL zoom

I'm trying to find a good Point & shoot camera that is small (like average size of digital P&S camera (with optical zoom - min 3x .... Digital zoom is worthless IMO unless trying to save storage space with compression..) 5 years ago (Casio Elixilm size maybe). My issues is price ATM but I need a decent zoom function (adding an extra lense/magnifier possible in any way??) and at least 12MP. Good quality video would be nice, but that isn't a necessity. I'm up for buying an old model, refurbished or used if one of those provides a better bargain.

If the price is an issue then what is your budget? Would an S120 at $350 be too much for you?
