Do the QLED not have better colors? I would also buy a 32" if there is a better all rounder on the marked.:coffee:
I also don't really need a Monitor over 60Hz. I'm using my Monitor for everything from gaming to watching TV. :)

I'm assuming QLED means Quantum Dot (Samsung) correct? Yes, colors are good. Just make sure you're viewing the correct content. Since most content is sRGB, you'll want to use your monitor in sRGB mode. Otherwise it's going to be too saturated. Its native gamut actually comes within spitting distance of DCI-P3 so it's good there too. I actually need to recant a statement I made about it in another thread because I *thought* I read that it had bad DCI-P3 coverage but it apparently covers 93% of the gamut in its native color gamut mode.

The Benq ew277hdr is a wide gamut monitor and reds looked a bit over saturated to me. but whites were properly displayed

I'm in the market for a 32" 4K monitor with VRR capabilities and low input lag.

From what I've researched, the best choices would be the Samsung U32H850, Ben Q EW3270U and LG 32UD59.

Anyone know which of these would be the best choice, or if there's something better that I'm missing?

It's not a VA, but I'm also considering the LG 32UD99 because it's supposed to have better black levels than a typical IPS.

There also is samsung u32j590 recommended by that russian review site.
Anyone have opinions on these 4k monitors when it comes to gaming, ghosting and media? When it comes to 4k, there are 4k 27" ips monitors and 4k 32" va monitors at the same price. No flat 27" 4k va monitors.
I would like to try one but none of them have adjustable stand (but they have vesa), I am afraid of va dead pixels as with every va and I am afraid that 32" for va will be too big and gamma shift will ruin the image quality outside of the center.
Last va monitor I've had was benq ew277hdr. Fantastic picture quality and surprisingly very little ghosting but more dead/stuck pixels than there is a sand in a sandpit... and va glow/gamma shift was kinda bad.

Guys, at 27" & 1080p is VA really worse than TN and IPS when it comes to seeing the lines between the pixels ?
The IPS I had at 27" 1080p was decent in the pixel density department but I keep hearing horror stories about VAs and how uncomfortable they are at this res/size, especially when it comes to text.
For example does anyone have experience with Iiyama ProLite XB2783HSU-B3 or how was the PPI for ew277hdr?

Given equal size/resolution, panel type won't affect perceived pixel density.

This is a thing with the curved 144hz Samsung VA panels (so nearly all 144hz VA monitors, all the curved ones use these panels), but it doesn't apply to VAs in general. Probably not an issue with the denser 1440p 27" ones Samsung make

That's very odd, I was under the impresion compared to a TN or an IPS, a VA would be noticably worse at 1080p/27", because of the very panel technology and how the pixels are structured. Maybe since most reviews for the VA iiyama mention the lines between the pixels -when my experience with my ips at this ppi was fine- I missunderstood somethings..? Is it the semi-glossy coating?

Between these two models (TN-VA) you'd say I wouldn't see any difference when it comes to the percieved pixel density? Because I literally just ordered the tn for that thing alone!

Well, I narrowed it down between the Ben Q EW3270U and the Viewsonic XG 3220.

I ended up pulling the trigger on the Ben Q because in went on sale for $450 for Amazon's cyber monday, and the Viewsonic lacked in-depth reviews.

If anyone's interested I can post impressions when it arrives.

Thanks Igluk. The trend of either 32" or 27" curved va continues. Not much new stuff really.
Good to see rtings joining monitor reviews so we can see yet another angle.
New Philips 328P6VUBREB totally underwhelms with off whack gamma and poor hdr with only 8 zones. At least it's 4k and has adjustable stand which cannot be said for many of these.

Alright guys, after consulting with the 27" 1080p thread, I canceled my TN order and decided to go with a VA. Leaving curved aside, from what I've gathered my 2 best options are Iiyama ProLite XB2783HSU-B3 and BenQ EW277HDR. Any other suggestions ?

Yes, these are good. Benq will have better image quality (much better) but way worse stand, no vesa and my unit had like 30 of dead/stuck pixels.
Not tested that viewsonic but it looks sweet. The only other 27" 1080p va is asus vn279qlb

Panel wise; The BenQ is an AU Optronics M270HVN02.6, while the Iiyama -I think- is an AU Optronics M270HVN02.0. I don't know if there is a huge improvement on the response times, which is my bigger concern. Both models claim a 4ms minimum response time (pcmonitors told me that's bull).
And I'm not a huge fan of the oversaturated colours or the HDR "solution" of the Benq. So the iiyama is looking pretty good.

that phillips 32" 4k which pcmonitors tested, had pretty impressive pixel response time/ balanced overdrive, but sadly high input lag.

Viewsonix VX3211-4k (32" 4k VA)

Samsung LU32J590UQE (32" 4k VA)

Anyone got any reviews on these two 4k monitors? It's a joke trying to search for non-english reviews.

I am honestly starting to think the pc market is too small for all of these monitors and other stuff. We used to have 800 pages discussions in few months about simple monitors like samsung 226bw 10 years ago. Now, all this gear is unreviewed and way too expensive for some person to be reviewing it all.
Back to Your question:
This nice russin site have review of this samsung and they like. I would be a bit afraid of 32" va, because sitting close to it would probably result in poor gamma shift on borders. And this model does not have adjustable stand. Many monitors don't have now.

That's fine for me. I only ever use VESA anyway.

No vesa = crazy person.

I agree though, there is like 15 different 32" viewsonic monitors this year and I've only ever seen review for like 2.

I ended up returning the Ben Q EW3270U because there was some black crushing I couldn't fix in the monitor settings. I could get it looking good using software correction, but the problem is that I also want to use the monitor for consoles along with my PC which don't let you load ICC profiles. There were also some uniformity issues around the edges though I suppose that's just something you have to deal with for a monitor of this size, because going by measurements, the Ben Q EW3270U is actually one of the better monitors in this regard. The lack of a height adjustable/rotatable stand was also annoying. Not a huge deal because it has VESA mounts so you can always buy one, but I feel this isn't something you should have to pay extra for given almost every other monitor in it's class comes packaged with one.

I will say though that going back to 1080p after using 4k for a few weeks feels really cramped lol.

I'm hoping to catch a Viewsonic XG 3220 on sale as it has similar specs but also has low gamma adjustment.

Interesting you say that because the Viewsonic VX3211-4k I'm looking at is very similar (IMO just different stand/frame/ports)

On the BenQ, how was the ghosting? That's really my biggest worry with these monitors. I don't mind 60hz, just the ghosting.

I didn't notice any ghosting that bothered me. However, I've been using a 60hz VA panel for years now, so maybe I just don't know any better.

I bought the Samsung j590 and returned it. If anyone curious just ask me about it .

It uses same panel as viewsonic vx3211-4k, benq ew3270u, lg 32uk550-b

*WoW had strobing effect because pixel transition was too slow (looked like monitor was dimming when camera moving)
* Color shift even straight on. Grass is greener/brighter on sides
* sleep takes 20 seconds to wake up
* PWM below 30% brightness
* OSD does nothing until 30% brightness

Samsung j590 use similar panel to EW3270U but not the same.
LG and ViewSonic are using 8bit+FRC so it is even not similar.
you mislead users by writing unproven items.

Is there any backlight graph spectrum SPD of M315DJJ-K30 or M315DJJ-K31 panel?
BenQ EW3270U, Philips 328P6VJEB, Philips 328P6VUBREB
Is any of this PFS panel?

Yes, I'm fairly certain that all manufacturers except Samsung use WLED + enhanced phosphors backlight.
It's usually PFS, LG Nano-IPS use KSF phosphors. (edit: both are the same and mainly contain potassium fluorosilicate)
Hardly any reviewers post spectral graphs though.
The U32J590 has INX M315DJJ-Q01 panel (CELL) with Samsung QD-LED backlight.

What's a good 1440p upgrade from my Samsung C24FG70? I would like similar colour/contrast on the panel if possible as I'm really happy with the way the monitor works, I just want to go bigger and have more pixels while maintaining Freesync and 1440p. Reviews on the CHG70 series seem mixed with the 32" having PWM which I don't like. I was thinking of going cheap with the LG 32GK650F but I'm not sure how the panel compares to the Samsung QLED. Will I notice much of a difference?
