I'm in need of a presenter for PowerPoint presentations. It doesn't necessarily need to be a presenter/mouse combo, but it could.

So I've seen the Logitech MX Air, the Microsoft Presenter Mouse, and the standalone Logitech Presenters (R4000, etc).

Anyone have any experience with using these? What's the best one?

None of those. For work I got us Interlink Electronics SMK Link Remotepoint Navigators.

They run around 130 bucks each. Worth every damn penny. Constantly had issues with other presenters we used, either dying or having to be reset all the time.

Since I switched us to these we have had zero issues. Just change out the batteries every 6 months thats it. They plug and play, no muss no fuss.

I have 4 of the older Logitech presenters (R-R0001) and they work great. RF so you can be a long way from the computer the powerpoint is on. Has F5/ESC and forward/back, a timer on the lcd screen, and an av mute button to put up a blackscreen.
