Best place to keep a hard disk out of the computer case once it is not used

If you have to put a hard disk out of a computer case because you do not use it anymore which should be the best place or way to keep it functional just in case you need it again.

i have thougt on a small sized tupperware, great way to keep dust and humidity away but maybe could produce electrostatic energy dont know

combined with one of these protect it from strikes inside the tupperware

If you still have the packaging it came in, you could use that.

Static bag or just on the bookshelf is fine...away from the carpet at all costs.

if you cant find a static bag.. just put it in an air tight zip lock bag... then freeze it.. haha j/k

but do put it in a ziplock bag and put it in a drawer ... i would be knida scared to put it on a shelf cuz it might fall...
