Hey, what's the best micro atx board for vivo-style multimedia purposes?

For AMD most likely Chaintech 7NIF2 or Albatron KM18G. The Shuttle MN31N has Soundstorm but needs an add-in card for the TV-out.

For Intel Asus P4R800-VM but you need to buy the TV out adaptor separately.

I was just looking at that. Looks like a nice board but kinda pricy IMO. I will have to look into this more.

Any of the i865 based motherboards from the usually reliable vendors should suit you purposes aswell.

Newegg had an Abit uATX i865 board for $79, when I was looking last week.
