Title says it all I guess... if we add another internet line at work, which distro will allow for two reds? I read somewhere that Smoothwall or IPCop won't(and these are the two I am currently familiar with)

Thanks guys.

I use pfSense for this. Quite a few deployments with dual WANs, it works very well. Use the 1.2.3 release candidates, they are very stable with better hardware support and the multi WAN engine is significantly improved.

Random bitch: I really don't like this whole red/yellow/green thing.

Why? Feel it's racist?? :p

It doesn't convey any actual information. Calling red a WAN or 'outside', orange a DMZ and green a LAN or 'inside' conveys a lot more information and is more obvious, plus it doesn't rely on the vendor's default configuration for those 'colours' for understanding. I should hope you'd understand those terms if you're administering a firewall appliance of any sort... Plus it encourages 'cookie cutter' configurations that aren't tailored to the application at hand.

But I won't drag the thread offtopic :)

I know pfSense can do a good job of this, I think Untangle can also do it but I haven't used that one.
