What kind of work? Tasks? Normal office bullshit? Blender? Modeling? What.

If that's the case almost any $500 laptop will do. As long as it has an SSD, I wouldn't worry too much about the rest.

Our company uses Dell 7420 with Dell docking stations. Very nice laptops for work.
