Best laptop DVD burner

i'm looking at buying either the panasonic UJ-825-B

they are within $3 after shipping

i sorta want a nec 6500 but its almost $50 more

the thing i care about most is media compatability when using the drives with princo and some other cheaper dvd-r media

i only do 1 or 2 dvd+r disk's a month so i dont mind if i have to use more expensive +r disks

but i burn about 50-70 dvd-r disks per month so media compatability is a must

Well ended up going with Dell spare parts amazingly enough....

for $146 i got an 8x dual format dvd burner shipped next day
(from the 9200)

amazing that it costs less from Dell than as OEM from newegg....
