Best gaming mouse for a laptop

I have a bluetooth logitech mx1000 that is sweet for gaming; if you don't have bluetooth though, some other good mice are the aforementioned logitech mx518, as well as the g5

The VX is too heavy for me. I really love my G5 with the adjustable weights.. feels awesome in FPS games.

With the MX1000, is a bluetooth adapter provided or does your laptop require an internal bluetooth module?

I tried searching the net, but didn't find my answer.
