https://www.pcfactory.cl/producto/24548-mouse-gamer-g403-optico-usb
the g403 i can get second hand on a forum for 20 bucks
i could also get the Corsair m65 for $52
https://www.pcfactory.cl/producto/25368-mouse-gamer-m65-pro-usb-black
last but not least
https://www.pcfactory.cl/producto/24344 Corsair Harpoon

My top choices are the G403 and the G502 because they have the PMW3366 sensor from pixart, but i dont know if the other mice have it which is supposed to be the best. The idea is to find a good value. Steelseries MMO mouse seems solid too. I usually play RTS, RPGs and CSGO . What would you recommend me?
Looking forward tohearing from you

Steelseries Rival 310, Nexeus Revel, and my personal favorite so far Roccat Pure Kone Owl Eye. The G403 and G502 are nice too. It really really comes down to how the mouse fit your hand though. I would try some at a bestbuy or something on your list and the Steelseries if you have one near you.

I have the G703, which is the G403 with better switches and optional wireless charging. I absolutely love the 703, so I would imagine the 403 is just as good.

ok guys thx for the replies, i went for the g402 and i got it for halft the price, it seems ok and has a nice fit so im happy with the purchase. The seller said he went for a zowie that he had to get from overseas, and that this g403 was barely used for a month, it seems in good shape so i trust him. Lets hope it wont have any issues and wont need to contact logitech support. What DPI would you recommend to set it to? when i had deathadder i had to use specific DPI settings because they were the more "stable" ones so to speak, but regarding this new generation sensor idk if that applies too.

About my older DA mouse, do you think there is still a way to repair it?

G402 or G403?

G402 - 800 +/- 80 DPI per step (should be the adjustable increments in LGS). No smoothing below 2000 DPI.

G403 - Any DPI setting is fine in LGS. No smoothing throughout entire DPI range.

I was about to suggest the G700 until I noticed they're now going for $150+! For a while Amazon was selling them under $50. I guess when they stopped making them the demand went through the roof.

I had the G700S and Logitech replaced it with the G703. I'm happier with the simpler model.

For me I need more buttons. I despise the idea of my left hand doing 40 functions (including movement) while my right is stuck just aiming and firing. The 700 is one of the only mice that does that well. They either go overboard (like the G602 and especially the G600) or they're stripped down to Intellimouse specs.

I did not know that. Guess I should get around to selling mine - I haven’t used it in years. This might be one of those rare times where it pays to hang on to older stuff. :)

I just picked up a Hiraily F300 and for a cheap mouse I am very impressed, it's a 5000DPI PWM3325 sensor (same company that makes them for the Logitech G903 etc. although a lower end model). Build quality is great, tracks well etc. and only costs $17.

It's very similar in design to the Razer Mamba, well worth a look if you want a budget mouse. Mine is actually the slightly older version which was $12, and although not as good as the updated one still performs well.

^ this

G703 is worth the price. Shape, ergonomics and wireless aspect of it is awesome.

Sometimes they go on sale for 65 (rare) you can also pick it up on ebay if you don't mind a brand new in a less than perfect box for around $60. Spend the little extra cash and be happy.

For $85-90 you'd think the G703 would have more buttons. I wish they went with something akin to the G502 rather than being so basic and stripped down.
The 2018 revisions and new releases should be on the way in the next 2-3 months, so I'm holding out hope that the G700 finally gets a more modern successor.

I'd pay more for the G703 than I would the G903. I had the G900 and honestly it felt too 'alien' and cheap to me even though i pad more for a premium. The 903 is reminiscent of my MX518 which to me was one of the best ever made. The 703 feels more solid... plus nachos get stuck all up in those 900/903 grooves :-D

I agree that they should be cheaper though like 50-70 range. I guess you pay a premium for that 'wireless charging' tech.

For me I simply want more buttons...BUT not something ridiculous like the G600 or G602. I consider the G700 to be pretty close to ideal, although I don't really get the weird buttons on top/middle of the mouse. You basically have to let go of the mouse to even hit it. 3-4 thumb buttons and at least 1 more index finger button.
Couldn't care less about wireless charging - I just swap my G700's battery for another rechargable. That's a better solution for me considering I use those same batteries for multiple devices and controllers. I think the main technical issue with that mouse is the sensor location. It's too low, which causes weird issues with tracking. The newer ones track way better.

The g502 proteus is the best mouse I have ever used. If you must go cheaper than the $50 I would suggest logitech g203

G603 or G703 is the best mouse I’ve used in 30 years of computing.

1ms wireless is imperceivable input lag as compared to wired. G603 uses AA batteries. G703 uses a internal rechargeable battery.

Has hero and lightning sensors. Connects over usb dongle or Bluetooth. Switches between 1ms or 6ms response time on the bottom (6ms for non gaming to conserve battery.

this is a pretty subjective topic.. for me atm the best mouse in this price range is the SteelSeries Sensei 310 which I just got and like very much .. it was a sad day when my orig Sensei mouse started to eat it.... for awhile I used a Zowie ZA11 which I was never very happy with and recently order the sensei 310 off ebay for $35~ish.. well please... great palm grip mouse

Looking for a new mouse myself, specifically the G703. Is wireless just as good as wired for gaming nowadays?

Some people say that wireless is just as good, but I'm not buying it. For casual gaming and non-twitch style FPS games I can see that being true. If you take a game seriously and want to be the best you can be there is no way I can recommend wireless.

Have you tried the newest tech, though? I've used a number of wireless mice over the years, and the G900 is the first one that I feel truly lives up to the promise of being indistinguishable from its wired equivalent. People had been claiming this for years, but whenever I tried those products I always came away disappointed. To me, the G900 feels as lag-free and responsive when used wirelessly as it does when connected to the charging cable. But, I'm a 37 year old guy who enjoys gaming in his free time. I'm not competing. If I was, yeah I would probably go with wired just to have every possible advantage available to me. But man it's nice to finally be free of that cord...no more cable drag or tugs from getting hung on stuff.

Stupid question maybe, but i was thinking of replacing my G700 with a newer mouse. Just wondering if i should after reading what's on here? It's a good mouse still, but was curious if there's anything better out atm?

Only if you need a high performance sensor, which is only relevant if you play competitive FPS.

The G903 is the best right now. It's much lighter than the g700.
The side buttons are much better, but it only has 2 of them.
The sensor is vertically centered and a better sensor.
You can use it with the powerplay mouse mat.

It's really expensive though. They have a couple other new wireless gaming mice better than the g700 that aren't as expensive as the 903.

I'm a big fan of the Logitech G602 wireless mice. I've got a couple of them. I use one on the test bench and one on my main gaming rig. I like the Corsair mice I've used ergonomically, but found their precision to be a bit off. Plus, the last time I used the CUE software, it licked diseased goat anus.

Logitech G502 has the best sensor, virtually surgical but my favorite is my DeathAdder Elite... Sensor is almost as good as my 502 but this just by far the most comfortable mouse on the market to me. It's like it was molded specifically for my hand.

Thanks for the replies all....Finally ended up getting a used G700s as it was in really good shape and was under $50. (Was local) Also have the G700, but that's starting to skip every once in a while so figured i'd get something i'm used to. :angelic:
