my previous keyboard, a razer arctosa, recently broke and i need a replacement. I could just get another arctosa for ~40-45$ on amazon, but is there a better keyboard for the money?
I love mine. It's not perfect but I love it. It's also not under $40 at the moment
but there's always deals popping up where it could be had for about $40.
if you like your arctosa, it can be had for $40 at a few etailers and the lycosa which i think is the same with lights can be had for $40 on FS/FT and on etailer sales. also, the logitech G13 is on sale all the time from various etailers and i think its been just over $40 shipped recently, like $42 or so.
Belkin makes quality stuff, esp when you factor in their lower prices their stuff isn't bad at all. I usually don't buy their low end $5-10 items for obvious reason, but their keyboards and mice have lasted me a veryyyy long time.

I bought the microsoft sidewinder x4 for $29, when it was on sale, and that was a great buy. Does great as a keyboard, although the key distance/layout takes some getting used to. The key blocking on certain key combos on my Logitech internet keyboard was very annoying.
As long as you can find a keyboard that allows you to press at least 6 buttons of any key combination without ghosting or stuck keys, you will be fine.
