best freeware DOD hard disk erase programs

Need to completely wipe a few HDD for I sell them and looking for a good freeware program.. any suggestions.. thanks,

When you say DOD, do you mean you work for the military. If you do, then just BCWipe it. Military has sn#'s for it.

no .. I just want to make sure its totally clean before I get rid of it.. it had personal info on it and things like that...

Ah ok, cause I know we use BCWipe when we go from classified to unclassified HDD's.
