Best codec pack to get? The one I use is getting old.

I came to [H] to ask this once a couple of years ago. The recommended pack was ffdshow and it worked great. I never encountered any audio or video media tha tI couldn't play correctly. Now, the pack has not been updated for years and I was wondering is there anyything you guys reccomend? Thanks.

Same here. These codecs are pretty good quality too. I Just did a format and reinstall of my boot drive, and i forgot to load this pack, and i was like, shit, my vids dont look as good as they used to. then i remembered to install the pack. now im happy.

Ive been using the K-Lite Full pack for a really long time now, adding in Quicktime Alternative and Real Alternative manually, associating files and plugins ect

now w\ Mega I dont have to
