Best cluster size for single NTFS drive?

47 gig 7200 rpm drive.

Using NTFS.

Currently set at 4K cluster size... which I think is too small and I blame some of my hard drive speed problems on.

So, what should I use?

16K, 32K, 64K...etc?

This machine is mainly for gaming, but some file storage as well.

NTFS works best with 4k clusters. And this is the default.


Unless you are doing massive amounts of work with very large files such as you would do in video editing, using a large cluster size will not provide any benefit.
