Best cheap used L2 switch?

Can anyone recommend a brand/model for a cheap/used L2 switch? They will be used in the outer areas of a school building where there is a lot of daisy chaining (as many as 5 chained switches). The only requirement is that they must support 802.1q vlan. Something fast would be nice (asic/2~4M pps would be good) so I don't have to worry about netware clients multicasting too much.

Right now I'm planning to get a bunch of Nortel baystack 450's or possibly 350's if I can't find enough of the 450 model. They go for around $15/each on ebay.
 
Dell Powerconnect 3000s usually are pretty cheap and would work well in that situation.
 
I see a lot of the older HP procurve stuff go on eBay for cheap. $50 for 10/100 24port switches. I even saw a 4000 chassis switch go for like 100. S&H was killer though.
