Not sure if this has been posted somewhere but these PSU's have been great to me and so far the folks I bought them for have not had any issues with them.

Great for starter builds and 600W is still plentiful. I had a $10 reward certificate that brought it down to $32.xx after tax.

It's not modular but the price reflects that.

I am picking up another one later to replace my PSU in my Dell Optiplex 330.

Yeah BB can occasionally have some gems, I picked up my Corsair H50(??) there for like $30 quite a few years back.

I am tempted to get another just to have as a backup or maybe a side build. Hmmm...

Excellent, thanks! I just upgraded my rig and I wanted to package my older components into a cheap case and cheap/reputable PSU and lend them to a friend who can't afford a PC right now. This fits the bill perfectly.

    Newegg requires MIR.

    Amazon is good though.

However after tax its only $43 and some change so its all good to me.

Amazon get tax in Massachusetts. NG mail rebate is a PITA. BB is the place this time around IMHO.

$39.99 for the 500W version on Amazon, $57.76 for the 600W

    Did the price change already?

    Good wattage for the price.

This PSU only has a Single 12v rail and no Japanese Capacitors as it's described on EVGA product page. I would worry about SLI/CF and longevity on those things.

Oem desktop pc psu's come with single 12v rails and non japanese capacitors as well and I have multiple older optiplex machines with original psu's kicking just fine. They are literally 8-10 year units, some with gtx 650s and amd cards. If i can get 5 years with this evga here it would have already been worth the $40 I paid for it. Just my .02.

I bought an Antec Neo 620 PSU (Seasonic Build) that was $39.99 AR for a back-up this past summer. Never had an issue with rebates from Antec.

I bought the same one for my HTPC. Been working great! I went ahead and picked up two of these, however, for computers I am upgrading for my children.

Thanks OP. Picked one of these up this morning. Used my last spare PS upgrading a friend's video card a couple of months ago.

It's a solid PSU for the money. I've always been a fan of Antec myself. They have been around for ages now. I love their Three Hundred Two case. I have an extra in the basement for my next build (which won't be for a couple of years)

I've never had an issue with their PSU's either. The NEO 620 is a tad long in the tooth, but still a great unit. I think it's discontinued now. It was a steal for $40.00 when it was on sale.

    Deal is live again 1/20/2016.

Seems like they are clearing these out. All stores that showed in stock near me are now showing OOS. At the time of posting this thread, all the stores had at least one. Again these make good back up/test PSU's.

Doesn't matter now, price jumped up to $59.99
I got the last one at a local store last week. Great spare. I also noticed that it's a smaller size than some Corsair units for example. The length is 5.5 inches, which means it can fit some smaller Dell cases easier. A lot of the Corsair units are 5.9 or 6.3.
It will need an adapter in my Dell T20, but I already bought that. This makes a nice back up in case that expensive Dell one dies. I doubt it happens, but I like to be ready in case.

Hell, even for a main unit for a single-GPU system it is an insanely economical good deal.

My only gripe is that I would rather ditch the floppy drive connectors for another molex in my sig rig box.

Nice! I have a spare ITX build after an upgrade, and it needed a PSU to use again, so I snagged one for that, as well as one for a spare.

    Thanks OP!
