Looking to spend $100-$130 for a good stable motherboard..I've been out of the loop for at least 6 months and I don't have much time to read all the reviews.I need your advice on a good motherboard for a new system I'm building. I know a few months ago the Gigabyte DS3 was the best deal. The only requirements I need is that it must be able to support Core2 duo and quad core, DDR2, Pci express, and good OC potential. Please help me decide and I will be buying a Core 2 Duo E6750 and 2gb DDR2 800.

At that price range, I would recommend the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R ($130) at Newegg or the Abit IP35 ($100AR) at Mwave.

any of the Gigabyte and Abit boards that are in your price range are excellent choices. if you really want to save money, Abit IP35-E hands down.

I concur with batmanwcm. The DS3R is the updated version of the DS3 to support Intel's new Yorkfield and Wolfdale CPUs.
