Best 27" monitor under $300?

Was not even remotely thinking of getting a new monitor until today at work i started using a 24", The thing is NOICE!

I have a HP w2207 i bough ta few years ago, but after seeing the 24" today i gotta get one. So instead of that I am looking to up it even more to a 27"

Anything i should look at or stay away from?

There seems to be tons and tons more models than i thought there would be(compared to 4yrs ago when i last looked at monitors this size)

You may actually prefer 24", as at 27" it'll most likely be 1080p models (at < $300). So the pixel density will be greater with a 24"er compared to 27".

If you are okay with risk, you could maybe get one of the 1440p Korean models from eBay for $300ish.

And things to stay away from ... super heavy IPS antiglare coatings... and TN models, unless you are a big gamer and want to use Lightboost.
