Been using Kaspersky Free Security Cloud as anti-malware and happy with it

In case you are searching for a free good anti-malware, I find this one pretty good. If you want to pay, get MalwareBytes, it has proven to be solid, however Malwarebytes can slow down your computer a bit whereas I didn't see any lags or slowdown with Kaspersky yet.
 
I would take my chances with just Windows Defender before I install an AV software banned for use by government agencies or civilians with government contracts...

It could be all political, but why risk it?
 
We had 3 ransomware attacks at work with Windows Defender over the last 4 years. Defender is just good for viruses, not malware or ransomware
