Which are personified by an ingame character that seems to be a part of the sp campaign. Wasn't there female characters in some of the Russian content for bf1? The character in bfv might have a backstory that explains where she is and is something that happened to some extent during ww2 for all we know. Think people are jumping the gun to say the least.
Russian women serving on the front lines actually happened though, hell, the Russians pretty much conscripted every man women and child to fight the Germans because they were getting their asses kicked until the Russian winter hit. That I can deal with because it actually happened. I think people aren't jumping the gun, simply because that trailer jumped the shark.
Teddy bears on tanks, Katanas on the backs of British soldiers, the cliche "Bloody Hell" that every British person apparently says when theirs danger. Tanks moving at an incredible speed even when mowing through objects, I could go on and on about that laughing stock of EA's vision of WW2.
If they wanted to make a war game, fine put all the silly fantastical content you want in it. But don't label it a World War II game.
You're basing all this entirely on a trailer that looks like its a snippet of an sp mission, chances are the multiplayer reveal in a few weeks will make a much better showing.
Well, first impressions you know....
