I am starting a new country band and we have the name but Im kinda blocked on ideas for the logo. Band name is South Dixie Highway. Singer is a female of Hispanic heritage so I cant do the confederate flag, think it would kinda be inappropriate. Any ideas?

Maybe there is some inspiration on this page....
was going to paste a link - but it seemed a bit overkill. Try doing a google search for dixie highway signs....saw a cool looking vintage metal sign..and a few other goodies that might give you some ideas.

Road sign is pretty easy but way cliche.
have you considered play on the initials ? SDH ?
Or a play on the Compass ? like "down arrow" DH...
also, Tattoo artists can do amazing things with ideas like this.
It might cost you a $100, but most Artists are willing to do stock sketches of ideas, for a fee.
