Backplate for PNY GTX 980 ti

Anyone know if there any plans to release a backplate for the PNY GTX 980 ti? If so, any inkling when?

If not, could the EVGA backlate be used instead? This is for reference design only, obviously.
 
As far as I know, all reference cards have the exact same layout, so the back plates are universal.

@kasakka I prefer the look of back plates (when done right). It makes your rig look more clean and possibly helps against GPU bending.

However, when backplates are done wrong.. like on a GTX980... you just either have to remove or replace it lol
 
GPU bending (although it may be a moot point since I'm using a Corsair 250D), better cooling, however slight the benefit may be, and also protection - if I'm going into my chassis a lot, which I'll be doing soon to re-wire the case for better cable management, I want to ensure that nothing hits the backside of the card.
