[B]Best Overclock Performance - Athlon 3500+ or P4 3.4E[/B]

I'm building a new system around either an Athlon 3500+ or P4 3.4E.

This system will be used for a variety of tasks but is to be optimized for Digital photography work including Photoshop CS. The P4 tests out marginally better for this purpose but they are close.

Which processor is likely to give me the best performance when overclocked? I plan to watercool.

I'd also consider a slower processors if that would get me to the same OC performance after watercooling.

The athlon would probably overclock higher, but even a lesser overclock on the P4 would suit your needs better.

The Pentium 4 3.4E would be your best option. With watercooling you could probably get up to 4Ghz or higher.
