AVG cannot update?

Are Grisoft's servers down or something? AVG update ALWAYS times out on me, but it knows it needs to update...

Does this happen to anyone else?

It happens sometimes to me. It happened this morning, and did it for a while last month as well. Considering I didn't pay a thing for it though, I'm not complaining.
 
i'm getting the same thing, it says there's an update available, but i get the following window:

it's probably nothing major, i'd just give it a day or two and it will probably work again...i've had this happen before, and after a couple days, it updated
 
I have been having the same problem for the last few days. And now this morning I can't get onto there website either!
 
yeah, i just tried to get onto free.grisoft.com and it's not coming up, although the normal www.grisoft.com does open for me.

i think it's probably a ploy to get people to just upgrade to the paid version.

well i got tired of the damn thing trying to update, so i "UPGRADED" to Avast. screw em!
