automatically inserting numbers in exel

does anyone know how to auto format in excel to automatically insert numbers 1400 thorugh 1800 in the first row going down?
 
morning bump beacuase i really nedd to know how to do this and time is running out
 
highlight the column or row you want to change then go to edit, fill, series, then specify by how much you want to change each number.. by 1 or by 2's or 3's etc... this is how I do this operation.. Im sure there are other ways...
 
Or as a shortcut, you can put in the first few numbers of the series:

Then select them and grab the little black blip at the lower right of the selection (shown in the picture) and drag it down until it fills the right number of cells. Cheers.
