Audit for computers in AD environment

All,

Does anyone know of a good software package to use to audit nodes within an AD environment? I'm looking mainly for hardware specs and installed software. I'm aware that software like Kaseya can do this but I only need it as a 1 time thing and Kaseya is cost prohibitive. There's about 70 computers on my network.

what do you mean by "nodes"? workstations? domain controllers?

what you need should be doable with wmi query(s)
