I was wondering if anybody has heard of anything like this before. I am interested in tapping into the output of my audio driver, interpreting that in a program and then outputting a representation of that to my parallel port which will have a bunch of led's connected.
Basically I want to be able to play music and then have some led's lets say 3 in this case connected to my parallel port and have a primitive visualization of the music displayed on those leds. I havent really seen many projects that do this but i suspect it has been tried before. Anybody have any insight?
