Attend Microsoft’s TechEd 2009 Australia Get Free Netbook

I’ve seen some pretty good giveaways at tech events before but I think getting a free HP 2140 Netbook takes the cake.

If you're in Australia, or you feel like you needed a good excuse to go walk about down under, then I'd recommend you register for the Australian TechEd 2009 conference. Attendees of the conference will then receive a free HP Netbook 2140, powered by an Intel Atom N270 processor, running Windows 7.

Hmm lets see. Buy an HP Mini Note 2140 for $399 from TigerDirect for $399 or fly to Aussie, purchase a TechEd ticket, hotels, expenses, etc for maybe a couple thousand dollars for an HP Mini Note 2140.

I think I'll stay home and buy my own. :-P
