So all I use a tablet for is ebooks, multimedia, word/excel docs, and the occasional website.

I have been trying to find a replacement for this old dog for a couple years now.

The big drawback is the speakers. They are PHENOMINAL on this thing. I can't find another tablet that can compare to how good they sound on this little thing. My wifes ipad airs speakers suck monkey nuts compared to it and its a couple years newer...

Basically looking for a 7"/8" tablet with really really good speakers that could put this to shame.

Help me out guys!

you want speakers.....i give you speakers.....on a slightly larger tablet.......Nexus 10. they are front facing which is great if your holding the device outside of the Nexus 10 im afraid im in the dark when it comes to tablet speakers.

An hp touchpad is the size but i doubbt that it has the speakers.......anybody are the nexus 7 speakers any good?

Tried my buddys nexus 10 and the speakers are horrible compared to the PB. Plus its too big.

How about investing ina quality tablet, and just wearing headphones when needed. Even cheap headphones would sounds worlds better than any tablet speakers on the market.

try the Nexus 7 if you can but if you dont like the N10 speakers im drawing a blank unless you want to go all out and get the nexus 9 its new cost pretty good, smaller than the n10, and i think front facing speakers
