ATI 6950 - Random crashing to white flicking screen then white pinstrips

Occasionally, so far only when browsing the web, my computer screen will turn completely white then flash a few time then turn to white pinstips before restarting. I have read that this might be cause by the 2D clocks on the card being too low however I am not exactly sure what to set them at. I checked the ATI overdrive and its showing that the clocks are set to 250/150 while in 2D.
 
try 100mhz more on each and see if that fixes it.
if it does try 50mhz. etc..
 
Can this be done via the AMD Overdrive in Catalyst 13.1. I am only seeing the ability to change the 3D clocks.
