At this point, Nvidia deserves the "bad driver" scarlet letter as much as AMD

I went from Windows 2000 to Windows 7. So, yes, I missed all the Vista issues entirely. (y) (And my ATI card wouldn't have been affected anyway.)

I didn't install Vista until SP1, but I never had a single problem with it. For me, the switch from Vista to 7 was almost unnoticeable. 7 basically was Vista SP2.

My problem isn't GSYNC. I am trying to game at 4K with my 1080 Ti. Went from a Radeon to a 1080 Ti yesterday. GTA V crashes roaming around outside. AC Origins crashes after a couple of minutes. Arkham Knight crashes. None of these crash with the same or higher settings on my R9 290. even though the 290 is less powerful and take in more power. Two drivers I have tried are 417 and 418. Granted I bought the card used so I'm not sure if the guy sold me a defective card

Witcher 3, Ace Combat 7 and Bioshock INfinte run fine at 4K. So does Gears of War UE albeit with low gpu usage

My PG279Q does not like any driver post 399, anything after that causes my screen to flicker for 5-10 seconds after waking up.

But I need these drivers to play Shitfield V with my co workers...
