CompUSSR has some great INTERNET ONLY deals.
I just ordered 2 of the pci cards hoping that they are mini pci cards. ill let you guys know.

Router 20 bucks here

Notebook adapter 12 bucks here

PCI card 12 bucks here

USB adapter 12 bucks here


My shipping was 5 bucks for 2 of the pci adapters. I think they may be minipci because of the way the metal shielding is covering everything on the card. But ill know next week
 
I have money!!! I'm going to go for it! Anyone know anything more about these cards? Like who is the controller maker? Does it work with net stumbler, linux drivers etc etc?
 
The deal for the router doesn't seem to be working correctly anymore. It show the deal when looking at the product, but when you go to checkout it only allows in-store pickup and the price is back to $49.99.

Was a sweet deal, but it doesn't look like it anymore.
 
Looks like they work with linux without a problem, that's about all I could find.

Tried to get the USB adapter and it is available for in-store pickup only.
 
You can get a similar belkin and get paid for it instead of paying for an ATT. See my new post.

Yah that's basically the link, got it off of slickdeals. However, due to the outstanding demand Staples has nixed the offer and removed it from their website. HOWEVER! When I was calling around yesterday trying to find a Staples that had it in stock they said that they could give you the same deal on a Netgear wireless router. Amusingly enough that same router has a $20 off staples easy rebate so you still get it for free. Additionally, you can use your 12% customer appreciation couple to overcome the tax and actually get paid for the router. (This only actually works on the original deal, they won't stack it if you get the Netgear one).

They dont have it in stock to ship, the local stores have it, but if you want to pick it up its 49.99.

i hate compussrs tracking page, give me the fedex number, they update more often than you do. lol
 
got mine, they are not minipci cards inside. One of the cards connects at 108 on my wrt54gs, the other doesnt. odd
 
sigh, why did i miss this
im never going ot get a damn wireless pci wifi adapter for my htpc ;(
