ASUS ROG MATRIX 5870 Auto-Overclocking Provides 19% Boost

Slashgear is reporting that the ASUS ROG MATRIX 5870 will sport an automatic overclocking feature that changes frequencies on the fly depending on what you're doing. ASUS is stating that on average players can expect a roughly 19% boost in frames in first person shooters set to max detail as a result of of this new feature.

Pretty interesting stuff. I wish this thing were out, I want benchmarks!
 
Strange that they took away a DVI port so unless you can use HDMI and DVI at the same time (usually you can use one or the other, but not both), you can't connect 3 monitors to this.
 
meh its Asus and probably overpriced

asus doesn't get my video card dollars, just motherboard dollars :)
 
nice card, looks very clean. I like the 3 output design with the larger airflow opening
