You guys should jump in on this it'll be fun. :)

It will be fun, except that it's at a Frys Electronics store. I live right near a different Frys, but I still buy most of my hardware and software from NewEgg. I still pay CA sales tax, on top of shipping, but the "customer experience" is so much better.

Well, it is their flagship store. The one that started them all.

Technically it's not, it was a building further down the street, but who cares, its Frys, where $1200 on a faulty smoke machine for staff appreciation day (at 5AM, and mandatory...even if your not meant to be there until 4PM), is far more important than than buying equipment for the PC repair/service department.

I'm all for a modding convention, but for the sake of the modders and overclockers please get rid of that damn piano elevator music!!!

I bet there will be no records broken for OCing.

I also bet the case mods will be like this.

And nothing close to stuff like this.

You can go to Frys and then go down the block to the strip club! At least I think you can if the Frys in Sunnyvale is the one on Arques.

If you are referring to the Kern and Lawrence one, that was actually the 2nd Sunnyvale location (current one being the third). The first one was on the other side of Lawrence and a lot closer to 101. I consider all of them the same store, just relocated for larger buildings.

I used to go to that first Frys which was very close to 101, on Oakmead Parkway. That was, never-mind-exactly-how-many, years ago. Back then Frys was a great place to find stuff you couldn't get anywhere else, and also had great prices on the stuff you could find elsewhere.

Now Frys has neither.

That's funny that u would say all the mods would look like yours and no world records would be broken! I hate when people have to be so negative like their shit don't stink! What kind of Pc u got? Did u build it or pay someone to mod it for u? After over 5 years of being a member I would think u would have figured out the old saying " If u don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all!"

And when my mod is on the cover of CPU magazine I'll be sure to post it here just for YOU! lol

Just now saw this. You have never seen my mods so nice try with the lame comeback. My PC will be done early 2012. I dont have to pay people to build computers for me. Being on the cover of a magazine may give you self satisfaction but it does nothing for me. So good luck on that and if you get it cool, but it will not matter to me.

BTW, how many OC records were broken there?

Im not hating on anyones work. I saw a couple mods that were good but most werent. Thats is my opinion and i never stated it as a fact. It was more of a Asus not being capable of picking good modders and the fact they requires ROG equipment to even be elidgable.
