Asus PC-DL problem

well my problem is somewhat simple: the thing just doesnt turn on. Its not on warranty anymore so that isnt an option. now for the details...
when i turn on the power supply, the ram led comes on just as normal. when i short the power jumpers nothing happens; no fans or anything.
ive tried 2 different sets of cpus, different ram configurations, different power supplys (atx and eps), etc. i just cant get it to turn on

any suggestions?

It should be under warranty. Asus typically warranties thier mainboards for three years.

As far as it not turning on theres alot of reasons for that. Disconnect all devices except for memory PSU video card and ram, and CPU of course and try to power it up then. Disconnect all drives and cables not essential to basic opperation off the motherboard.

Take the board out of the case, you might have a short to ground. Place the board on a cardboard box or some anti-static mat and see if it will power on. If it works then change your case. Hopes this solve your problem.
