We're all saying that tablets are just oversized phones right? They have the same hardware (or close to it), just with a bigger screen. Well, here's a phone that docks into a tablet. And that tablet docks into the transformer keyboard

So it's basically a Transformer, except all the processing power is done on the phone. The 'tablet' is just a bigger screen for the phone. It has no processing power of it's own, without the phone.

It's neat, but I'm sure it will cost a lot. Plus, if the application does not support the 'dynamic display' technology, it will probably continue to look like the phone version, even when docked with the larger display.

It's a really nice idea, though I think the tablet portion is inevitably going to be heavy, lol. Anyhow, I still like it! :D

It'll probably get blocked because it looks like an iphone anyway. :p

Imagine this with Windows 8.

Phones are becoming the true personal computers these days. They were originally only meant to have a way to contact you from anywhere (Mark of the beast BWAHAHAHA!!!). Then they gained the ability to store more of your personal info and email, acting as a node for your acquaintances. Now it's powerful enough to run applications and store your arbitrary files rather than just the important ones. The only thing limiting it now is the form factor.

With the coming of Windows8 and the expected productivity features. Maybe we'll get more products like this where the phone you're carrying can turn into a nettop. Rather than carry a laptop to work, your phone is powerful enough to handle fully featured office applications and enough storage to carry everything.
