I know about the defect on the board, but since i have the system assembled already and running I am going with it anyway. I was told from Asus tech support that all boards will eventually be replaced. Simply switch out boards and restart computer (after bios tweaks) and you are good to go. No re-install of operating system.
My question regards the Marvel SATA 6.0 ports. I have a SATA 6.0 SSD on one of the Intel 6.0 ports(grey) and I wanted to RAID 0 two of my 1-TB hard drives on the Marvel ports. I read somewhere that this is not a good idea. Should i use the Intel ports for the RAID array and use the SSD drive on the Marvel port? I don't know what to do.
Hard drives:
1 of Crucial C300 256gb SATA 6.0
2 of WD 1 tb SATA 6.0 (want to use in RAID 0)
Any advice would be great.
Thanks.
