Hi
Specs
Asus p6t6
i7-920

Last week I tried to upgrade my bios using the asus recommended methods...it did not work and basically when I tried to repeat the process it said that my bios could not be determined in the first place so I couldn't do anything further to update/install a new one.

I was frustrated but kept motoring along and hadn't shut my computer down until today....woops....now it 'turns on', everything spins in the tower but there is nothing on my screen.
No bios beeps or anything 'irregular' except for i have nothing on my screen

I am running 2 HD 5870 graphics cards and took one of them out and only plugged my middle monitor in but still nothing.

How can I fix this and make my computer operable again..
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP

When you get the new chip, do a hot swap and reflash the old chip so you have a backup.

Have you tried clearing cmos with the battery out?

Move the jumper, pop out the battery, and unplug the power supply if a quick clear cmos doesn't get you back. Leave it like that for a few hours then come back.

Otherwise looks like you might have to replace the bios.
