Asus P5NSLI and E2200 ?

bought a e2200 and ecs board combo from fry's for my htpc but i wasn't planning on using the ecs board cuz i have the asus board i pulled from my main rig. now when i put them together and turned it on it doesn't do anything. everything is on video card, hd, dvd rom, cpu fan and no post. is the E2200 not compatible with the p5nsli i have? reason why i want to use the asus is atleast i can oc just a little compare to the ecs, i can't. thanks for any help.

you should be fine with teh e2200. i used that same board and a e6320 and it ran fine until i wanted to run COD4. had some kind of conflict and would dump out of the game. switched to a intel dp35dp and works fine now.
