So for some reason I don't think my primary PCIe slot is working. The P5K Deluxe has 2 slots, but only the primary one is 16x. The other is only 4x. When my graphics card was in the first one the monitor wasn't receiving a signal. I tried the monitor and cable on other systems and they worked fine, and I even tried using a different video card in the primary slot. That didn't work either. But when I tried putting my video card in the secondary slot it worked fine.
My question is - is 4x enough speed for the 8800GTS to fully function? Also, is this a serious enough problem for me to RMA my mobo?
