I have a Asus G2K-A1 gaming notebook I purchased 4 years ago with Windows Vista. I could switch to any resolution & it would fill the entire screen. I upgraded to Windows 7 and I lost that ability. Is there a driver or utility that Asus provides that gives me full screen at any resolution?

What brand video card do you have? The control panel might have a setting on scaling, which if set to none or 1:1 then it won't stretch to fit the screen.

Betting it's an ATI card. Look under the catalyst control panel for scaling slider just as Papa guessed.

If it's nvidia it's under the nvidia control panel where you select whether you want to video card to scale or the screen to do it.
