Asus P4S800
Processor: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=19-116-171&DEPA=0
Motherboard: http://usa.asus.com/products/mb/socket478/p4s800/overview.htm

The processor is a 3.0(E Prescott Core) HT qwith 1MB L2.
The motherboard manual says it supports HT, as well as prescott core, but in the CPU section it says "The motherboard comes with a Surface Mount 478-pin ZIF socket. The socket is designed for the Intel Pentium 4 Processor in the 478pin package with 512/256KB L2 Cache on 0.13 micron process.

So my processor and motherboard wont work together!!!??!?! This is getting to be a royal PITA.....I cant return the mobo or processor, some please tell me if the instructions are outdated or what or am I screwed......Thanks
John
