Asus M4A79XTD EVO Green Motherboard possibly bad?

As the title suggest my computer is inop right now.

No beeps or post or anything of that nature just a slow spinning of the fans.

If i take both of the sticks of ram out it will beep at me telling me I have no ram, But if i put one stick in any of the slots I get no post.

I doubt both sticks are bad, The board has no onboard so im using a 3450 that i know works while my 5770 is down but i get no video response.

I think either the motherboard is bad or the ddr3 controller on my processor is bad because it works fine in my old am2+ motherboard that uses ddr2.

Please help [H] gurus.

i would most likely say its the board given that it does work on the am2+ board even though its using the other ddr2 controller.

only other way to really check is get your hands on some other ddr3 sticks and see what happens.

Yes thank you, I don't know anyone with any ddr3 around here lol but with ram prices the way they are i may just buy some.
