I am using an A64 3000+ with my K8v-SE deluxe mobo and some corsair xms3700 ram. I put it all together and powered it on, the comp turns on but the monitor display stays black. I found that if i reset the CMOS using the jumper, i can get a display to come up, but i cannot keep the display if i restart or power the computer off unless i reset the CMOS with a jumper again. I managed to get windows loaded and i am using it right now but if i turn it off and back on, i have to reset my CMOS/BIOS or i will have no display. Is there any way to fix this???

I have heard that there are problems with many types of RAM with this particular motherboard. Wasn't a bios update supposed to fix it?

Of all the A64 boards the K8V SE Deluxe has been proved to have the BROADEST ram support.

Tell me are you changing any setting in the bios after resetting the CMOS?

What graphics card are you using?

Is a strange problem allright.
