I'd actually "play" the games that I bought intending to play them, rather than fiddling around to get the peak performance without crossing over to the "oops, it's occasionally broken" side of things. Great idea, love it!

I would use that time to finish up my PhD dissertation! I'd actually end up saving even more time, since I could run my simulations on a new super fast Asus-powered Haswell desktop!!

I would spend the extra time teaching my 4yo how to play video games on the computer.

It would be 10 more minutes I'd be using and appreciating the performance of the hardware for any number of tasks from video conversion to gaming.

Question: Auto Tuning in ASUS 4-Way Optimization allows your CPU to achieve 95% of its potential in roughly 10 minutes. What would you do with those time savings?

Being able to automate and optimize 95% of my CPU's performance in about 10 minutes would allow me to be able to worry about tweaking less and focus more on gaming or getting work done and getting the most out of the system.

ASUS has been creating high quality tools for years that make the sometimes challenging task of overclocking and optimizing a lot easier for both the novice and the seasoned power user a like.

Bottom line is that with ASUS hardware in my "rig" and ASUS software installed I will be able to both maximize my performance and maximize my time to enjoy that performance!

I'd be able to spare my neck sooner from canting my head since UEFI is only in landscape and my monitors are rotated for portrait. Aww, Asus looking out for my health! =P

I would use the time to go outside with my kids and enjoy the summer, maybe even go on a picnic, instead of being down in my office working on tweaking the computer to it's maximum safe settings.

I would use that time to actually play some of the games in my Steam backlog, rather than simply look at them.

How would I use those time savings, let me count the ways:

1.) Porn
2.) Eat
3.) Listen to wife bitching about me being on the computer
4.) Porn
5.) Porn
6.) Ran out of smokes, porn mags sticky, off to store
7.) Watch my cat drop a loaf and ridicule how bad it stinks
8.) Porn
9.) Sleep, possibly dream of some shitty sitcom on the TV that wife is watching, or porn
10.) Start puberty, followed by.........Matlock
11.) Watched Matlock, puberty rescinding to normal levels, rising interest in Golden Girls
12.) Off myself after discovery of granny porn.
13.) ---Nothing, I am dead and a motherboard was wasted. Thanks a lot, you and crappy 70-80's sitcoms have killed me.
14.) Bury me with the porn (not the sticky ones either).
15.) Profit!

ANSWER: Drink a beer, launch a larger refuelling module to my space station in Kerbal Space Program, and hopefully land a manned mission to the outer planets.

I'd use the extra time for crunching more spreadsheet calculations, or freeing up more time for gaming!

i think i would read up on how to achieve 100% potential while this thing is work, and if i don't finish reading all my stuff i probably would test it out first and see if i could feel a difference with gaming and workloads. then try to achieve that 100% and truly be [H]ard haha.

its hypothetical of course, but yea, now im kinda interested in this entire optimization thingy-ma-bober.

I'm usually enjoying a beer or three when I'm building, configuring and testing new hardware, and it's usually around 1 or 2am when I'm done... so I'd probably spend that time drinking one more before bed.

With the time I saved, I could be getting [ H ] on the streets to earn more money to buy even better gear to go with the new motherboard! :D

Since most of my time is spent on dealing with "life issues", I would finally have time to drink and play my backlog of games!
