It seems my volume control keys are not working on my laptop. Installed the hotkey drivers the latest version and still does not seem to be working.

Anyone else run into this issue?

Depending on whether or not the unit is under warranty, I have a couple of suggestions.

If it's OOW, then the first thing I'd try is just simply reseating the keyboard cable. If that doesn't work, and you're in the US or Canada, you can try a replacement keyboard from the Asus eStore: http://us.estore.asus.com/index.php?l=product_list&c=3619

If the unit is still in warranty, then probably the best move would be to send it in for an RMA (and I can help set that up if you're in the US). It's PROBABLY just a bum keyboard, but there's always the possibility it's a sign of a deeper issue.

I had the same issue on my g74jh - i had to do a rebuild from the image that shipped with the laptop originally but that fixed the issue. Otherwise i'd check the physical cable its easy to get at.
