ASUS EAH4850 Graphics card

I recently bought a ASUS Radeon HD 4850 512MB DDR3 256-bit PCI-E 2.0 CrossFireX Supported Video Card - EAH4850/HTDI/512M and I cant seem to find the update drivers for it. I looked on the ati site and where it directs you but it seems ati doesnt have it listed or something. If anyone can direct me to an update driver for the 4850 I would greatly appreciate it. Also I was playing a game and the screen studders almost sometimes and then I get this droning sound almost and i have to reboot. Anyone have a similar problem?

Weird, the HD4800 series is missing from the list right now.

Just select the HD3870 for whatever OS you have. It's the same driver package.

NO! There is a driver for 4800 series but it's called a "hotfix" at the moment.

I did that hotfix before but when i did it and installed it it said this weird error when i tried to open the catalyst control panel and that the hotfix wasnt verified by windows or something. Is it fine to go ahead with it? Did it work for you?

EDIT: I apologize, I was mistaken. It works fine now and didnt show any errors. Thanks again for the help.

Do a driver sweep and reinstall the Hotfix, as I aswell love ASUS and only buy their products for the most part. I love the card though!

Google ATI Catalyst 8.7 Beta... I personally have better results with these drivers than with the "hotfix" drivers.

Make sure you get ALL the old ATI stuff off first.

Many horror stories about the 8.7 BETA out there, but guess it's worth the try.

Asus 4850 working here with 8.6 hotfix with no problems.
