I just whacked 3003 over-top of the last released bios and holy shit is it amazing. I loaded optimized defaults, turned on PBO (including the new FMax setting), slapped in 3800/1900 with 16-16-16-16-32-48-300 1T with 1.5v for memory. No other changes at all. It booted, so I thought "that's weird' and rebooted and only changed the timings to 14-14-14-14-28-42-300 1T and it booted! It also cinebench r20'd at around 9800. I'm beside myself with such a significant change in easily getting amazing timings just from a bios update. Previously I'd have trouble with 3800 if my voltages weren't juuuuust right.

Man I have not updated mine since 1131, I assume worth updating then huh.

That sort of awesome result makes me excited to receive my Dark Hero.
I hope I can PUMP IT UP TO THE MAX!!!!!!!

Still running at these settings, no tweaking. This bios is magic.

B550-F / E have the same update with similar logs. Wonder if is enjoys the same improvements.

I had negative results with the 300x update for my asus strix x570. I lost performance in games. I've been able to get CL16@1833 on my ram with 2816 bios and same with 300x.

I read on Overclockers some people had the same issue and it was resolved by clearing cmos and loading optimized defaults after the upgrade and manually re-applying settings. Not trying to fanboy on this too hard so do whats best for you :D

This is the first positive praise for that bios I’ve heard of so far.

My TUF x570 board had a similar 3XXX update and it's also doing wonderful. Air cooled on the stock cooler running the same timings and fclk with no voltage adjustments other than the ram to 1.45. I used to have to spend hours tuning to boot 3800 on that system. I dreaded upgrading it so badly ...
