Is there a way to assign network adapters to certain functions???
For example, what I'm wanting to do is have 2 NIC's in 1 system. 1 NIC is for a VPN client only, while the other is reserved for use by VMware.
I tried unchecking the boxes on the "VPN Nic" for the VMWare stuff so that vmware wouldn't use it. I also unchecked the "deterministic network enhancer" box on the VMware NIC so that the VPN wouldn't use it.
Instead, what has happened is Windows (XP PRO) has decided to just use the newly installed NIC exclusively.
Any way around this???
